In 2013, I was diagnosed and treated for stage II breast cancer. In 2016, my doctor confirmed that my cancer had metastasized to my left lung and collar bone. Now I am battling breast cancer for a second time but cancer itself for a third time. That’s why I decided to participate as a model in the 2023 Reston Runway to the Cure fashion show fundraiser at the Reston Town Center Pavilion in Reston, VA. Your financial contribution will help to raise money to directly assist breast cancer warriors in our area as well as support research toward more effective treatments.

This year, 75% of our net proceeds will be given to our selected local charity, The IIIBs Foundation https://www.keepthecandleglowing.org/.

The national organization that will receive 25% of our net proceeds is METAvivor https://www.metavivor.org/. METAvivor is the only organization that funds research exclusively about stage IV metastatic breast cancer.

I hope that you will help me to reach my fundraising goal and more for this fashion show and toward my ultimate goal of eradicating breast cancer!
